Two Sons/Phin vs. US Navy 6-24

This picture is TYPICAL Two Sons style. Notice white, shirt, shoes, light colored shorts, boat in perfect shape, no blood, fish cleaned off, etc.:smiley:

Two Sons tells me his is a bit CDO. “CDO?” Yea, that is OCD in alphabetic order.:smiley:

I know you were kicking around selling the boat to upgrade. That still in the cards? Would we SWEET ride for someone looking for a turn key Contender.

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

Awwww man, we saw that too and had a time trying to figure out what it was. We pretty much “thought” it might be a carrier when I saw a helo in the air around it. We were probably 3 miles away and could not get much of a look.

But when it decided to vanish over the horizon, it didn’t take long - it was out there one minute and gone the next.

I wish we could have been closer…what a treat you guys got.

We were on Knot Normal and managed one wahoo and a slinger at the Comanche. We saw the yellow boat with the dive flag…it was pretty nice out there.

One day I will show you how to do that. You’re gonna need to buy a new shirt first though.

Haha! I heard them on the vhf pestering you to get out of the way, was wondering who they were hollering at! Glad you didnt get mistaken for taliban.

Looks like you had a great day with the fam too, nice!

Nice fish. Good that you got the youngster on the water with a decent weather day for a change?

If you got time to lean, you got time to clean.

Is this boat kept at the maritime center area downtown?

This is the boat, except it has brand new F300’s on it now.

If you look close, you can see the hull-matching aqua mist color of the curtains’ interior.

I am not a huge fan of Contenders, but this is one boat I would absolutely love to have myself. Set up perfectly. Beautiful boat with every detail and feature cared for meticulously. Would bet the farm on this boat being nicer/better than brand new boats coming out of the Contender factory right now…

Showroom condition. When you go fishing in this thing, you seriously think you’re on a boat show model meant to sell 5 or 6 more of these model boats in just a day or two on display.

Great post and great looking boat. I admire someone who takes that good of care of their equipment. I know a lot of guys don’t seem to understand how much work it is to keep a boat looking sharp like that… even look at you strange when your washing down while they are “trying to fish”. If you ever have any boat cleaning tips or secrets, please throw them my way. Looks like you got it down.

Cool report and great pics with CVN 77 in the background.

Nice catch. We were out there too, pretty sure we passed by Yall a couple of times. The carrier was a sight to see, had the helicopter hover right over us for a while (think we got too close …whoops). Ended up being a great day.

I use 3 kinds of wax /cleaners

Woody wax for stainless and floors
A different product for the curtains(spray foam that softens and cleans/protects)
The shurhold buff magic / pro polish system with the Dual action polisher on everything else smooth. I also use the soap they sell too.

The boat gets waxed at least 3 times a year by me and the hull is professionally done at least once. I am also lucky to be able to keep the boat covered under a full boat cover or under a shed which helps a lot too. The shurhold buffer is the best tool I use. I can wax the entire interior in about 4 hours without any karate kid action either!

That’s not OCD, that’s music to my ears. I thought i was the only guy who waxed his boat that much. Two Sons- If you haven’t already, take a look into the Flex polisher. I haven’t used many other brands, but I can definitely vouch for the Flex.

My latest cleaning challenge has been removal of Coppertone Sun Screen; I believe they started putting a self tanner in the mix or something. Had an out of town friend and his lady on board a couple weeks ago… I’ve still got hand and butt prints everywhere.

I want to see the kid holding a fish…

Makes me well up with pride when I see that kind of fire power protecting us. I’m in Afghanistan now, and I love it when I see one of those C-17’s come in with a Palmetto Flag on the tail!

John

Dammit, you had to go and show photos of a carrier off SC.

Now SAFMC are going to put catch limits on them!
