Went yesterday with John to start the season. Left Wappoo a litte later than exspected headed to 226. As we were crossing the legde (6:45) we found a weed line forming with good trash in 77.4 degree water. Stopped there to pick up three dolphin before the fleet ran by. Picked up at 7:15 to finish the ride to 226. As we went further the temp went down. We got to the hole with 72-74 water and made a U-Turn to go back and find the warmer water. The rest of the day at the ledge was busy. We didn’t get to drink a beer for almost three hours. We had as many as five on at one time. We missed as many fish as we caught. I would like to thank Amy Anywhere (Autupilot) for her efforts. If it wasn’t for her the two of us would have been in a rat’s nest. Thanks again John for the BEST start I’ve ever had. we messed up MIC LITE’s office pretty bad yesterday since he was “out of pocket”. almost didn’t get my fish because of it…sorry dude!
