UGLY DUCKLIN CHARTERS - 4/23/14

Julie fished with a group last year and got skunked. this year she came by herself cause she wanted to catch ALL the fish.
She caught this nice 30 inch Red and 2 keeper size. All were released.
Still using mud Minnows, as I haven’t seen any bait in the creeks yet.

Nice fish. Looks like she enjoyed it.

pogies are getting thick in places. Watched a pelican fill up 4 times in a row this evening just past sunset.

Too funny. I'm guessing that you would be able to put her on that same fish next year. Though, from your previous (unedited) posts, that red will be a couple inches bigger but, still quite healthy. Keep them fishing, Captain.

She obviously wanted you all to herself! Hope ya’ll had fun!

Sorry, I don’t designate what fish hits the bait.

We haven’t seen any finger mullet in the creeks around Megget or Yonges Island, either. A few large mullet can be seen jumping across the flats at high tide, but zilch in the creeks. We fished Saturday with MM’s near Edisto and got skunked. Good job putting Julie on fish during this slow time.
