I took out 2 groups today. The morning trip was for Reds. Charles, Alan, and Travis had never caught Spottails. They had their plate full. It started with Alan, followed by Charles and then Travis. We had 5 keepers 19 - 22 inches. Tagged and released a 28.5" and broke off 3 over 30".
The afternoon trip was one of my customers for the past 5 years. I watched his children grow up. His 7 year old twin daughter Kennedy caught the biggest fish of the day with a large Stingray. Her brother Kenly caught a 3.5’ Sandtiger. They wound up with Whiting for supper. Kennedy caught a Flounder, and they had never seen one. It doesn’t take a whole lot to make a child smile. And that’s what it’s all about.
