I have really enjoyed my Ultimate 14.5 Kayak. I have used it for fishing in the marshes for trout and sneaking in the Edisto swamps for duck hunting. I got my first woody yesterday. Thanks again DolphinD.</font id=“Comic Sans MS”></font id=“size2”></font id=“blue”>
Glad you are enjoying the boat. Send me some pictures if you have any good fishing/hunting shots of the boat.
Happy New Year!

Hey D, I’m digin mine too, any word on that repair part?
Thats why they call it fishing, not catching
Sorry that it has been so long since my last response. Work has been busy on Edisto. I’m still luv’n my kayak, when I have time to use it. This is suppose to be a great weekend weather wise.
Two questions
- How is the true speed?
- Anybody paddle it with two people yet, still looking for the right boat to take my son with me, he has pretty much outgrown sharing a seat with me.
scott get with dave and go demo the boat i swear youll love it. and how about this weekend

Yes, you should demo the kayak before you purchase it. It does not have the best speed, but great stability and control with one person. My wife and I used it together twice. Great for just going down the river. I think the 16 ft. would work better if you want two people to go fishing.</font id=“Comic Sans MS”></font id=“size3”></font id=“blue”>
It is fun:smiley:
