I have been told by a couple of people that the umbrella rigs we use for stripers work great for kings and spanish. In fact one of the people that told me this is Capt Mack Farr that makes umbrella rigs.
Anyone ever tried them, I am coming down this weekend for a couple of weeks and thought of throwing a couple in the boat to try and see what happens

I would have to think that a king would totally kill a umbrella rig in about 2 shakes. Maybe the smaller (20 or less) fish would be ok but a mac daddy would slice it up bad.
