A little breezy yesterday but my new neighbor was dying to go. From the mountains, he was wanting to try the saltwater thing. We were anchored at a spot 15 minutes before daylight. As soon as it was light enough to see the bait was in the water. We tried three different spots and ended with an all undersize slam plus a black drum for a couple bonus points. Not much of a catch but the neighbor had a blast. At our last spot a see something huge out of the corner of my eye. My neighbor yells, " Its a huge beaver". LOL! ended up being a manatee swimming by the boat. Even for myself it was a cool sight. I ragged him the rest of the day about that being the biggest beaver I’ve ever seen.
