Underprojected Tides ??

Is it just me or is that 5.5 looking more like a 6.2 ?? A flat I have been eyeing had a lot more water than I thought it would at that projection. Any ■■■■■■■■ ??

It’s a forecast just like a weather forecast, there is no 100% accuracy. Wind direction/velocity is an even larger factor.

A long long slow walk in the spartina gives you time to think big thoughts and put your mind back into order.

H701,
Use your predicted, then go to the Charleston Fishing site select the lunar/solunar/tides section (under ‘sciences’) and there is a real time illustration of what’s happening in the harbor. This is pretty accurate for everything I use it for locally.

I’ve noticed this in the past. Hard to tell exactly. I suspect that wind has been the difference as mentioned above.
