Underwater footage of me missing Triggers

Interesting to watch crafty devils in 130ft of water off St. Augustine. Learned a lot from the video and hope you do too. Will be ready next time.

FYI, video was captured on Waterwolf camera. It mounts between your mainline and your rig and looks downward. Waterproof to 300 ft.

Pretty cool! It looks like you need to put a stinger on that bank sinker!

Your bait was way to big for targeting triggers, a little piece right on the barb. But nice vid thanks for posting.

The few triggers I have caught have either been free-lining a hook with squid or a small jighead tipped with shrimp.

I struggle with them as well. What hook size and type? Thanks for posting.

EDIT: sorry, guess I meant to say, do you have a picture of that camera mount?

Small hooks, small bait, light tackle, I’m talking 6000 series spinning reel

Works for me at least!

No, I don’t have a photo of the way I rig it, but this photo will give you a rough idea.

Awesome video, thanks for sharing. Looks like the camera is here: http://www.waterwolfhd.com/en/
