Underwater Lights

Looking to put some underwater lights on the transom for trips down to the Keys and Bahamas. Also would like to use them for shark/sword fishing some day in the future. Does anyone have an opinions or ■■■■■■■■ with good results.

I have done some research and found that the HID underwater lights are rated with up to 4 times the lumen but require a ballast(heavy draw of power) to be installed in the boat where the LED lights (low draw) are a direct wire up to 12v.
