Went with the wife and in-laws to Helen Ga last week from Thursday to Sunday. Mornings and evenings were spent with a 4 wt in hand in Unicoi State Park. Caught more fish each day than I could count. Weeks totals were a ton of Rainbows, a ton of suckers (lil bastards), One nice brown, and one small mouth bass. Also guided my father in law to his first trout on the fly. He enjoyed feeding drys to the risers. Parachutes worked well in the early morning and late evening. The go to rig was a stimulator with a bead head dropper.
Yeah. Water levels were real low most fishing was done on the Hooch. Also fished Spoilcane creek, white branch, rice cabin creek and cabin creek.
