Agreed. Don’t beat yourself up firstlight. With all the governmental abuses seen every day, its easy to believe another one might be out there. Saw somewhere today that due to national debt we all owe around $540,000 to repay it. China take Visa?

this is crazy! fish much? respect the rules and restrictions and your great great grand kids will be able to enjoy what we all do around here! I tip my hat to DNR for keeping our waters and marshes the best in the South! Even if they were law enforcement and they wanted to get a line wet, hell ya! do it! if you were smart, you would have paid attention to where they were fishing and make that your new hole. DNR spends more if not the same time tracking fish then guides do.
Iam very aware of the differance between a lawenforcement vessel and a biologist boat.The boat was an unmarked war eagle.I also tip my hat to each and every DNR officer out there.There would be no fish or wildlife without them.But a rouge officer cought in a bad situation can and will tarnish the image of their brothers and sisters in law enforcement.It takes a special person to pull the load an officer has to pull.They are also held to a higher standard as well they should be.I stand by what i said.IT IS WRONG.Who polices the police?Nobody.You do not see highway patrol riding around in a tee shirt and shorts in their patrol units when they are off duty.They are used for state work related buisness only.Anything else and they are fired.Keep a close eye on the boats around you.You might just recognize someone.
F/L…you are probably punch thread drunk after many of these replies…Anyway after careful review of your initial thread I would suggest you would have fared better if you would have left off the last two sentences…I will agree that they were probably doing no wrong…and if they were I bet they knew thier was fish in that spot especially if had a short time to fish it…Me would have been very observant…Wont fuss at you…just giving a humble opinion

If the boat was an unmarked</font id=“red”> war eagle, how do you know it was a “state boat”? Were they in uniform? Maybe one brought his boat to work and they were just doing a little fishing after(or before) their shift. Besides, who cares?
These folks(DNR) have to deal with a lot of crap, from the guy that’s pissed about getting cited for illegal or undersized/oversized fish, or “Whaddya mean I can’t have 18 people on my pontoon boat?”
If you have a problem with what they are doing, motor up to them and see what they are doing and if it is legal.
