Up for Sale- 14' flats boat

Well I tried guys to get into the inshore thing. The long offshore runs and a crazy schedule left me looking for a quicker way to get my fix. So I purchased a boat from a buddy who got a quick “I’m pregnant” surprise from his wife just weeks after buying it new. I picked it up quick as I had been half looking for something for a few years. He had an older Mariner laying around that he put on it and I repowered with a new Yamaha 15HP 4-stroke. This boat has not been titled due to his buying, my buying, repowering and general lack of use.

It is a 14’IPB or inshore power boat. It truly is an awesome little boat that is absolutely perfect for the Lowcountry, just not me. It will pole in a heavy dew with one finger. It is ridiculous.

Included:

  • 14’ Inshore Power Boat- fiberglass construction (maybe 50 hours in the water)
  • 15 HP Yamaha 4- Stroke (just got its 10 hour break in service)
  • Aluminum poling platform w/ 2 rod holders
  • 8’ Wang Anchor and bracket
  • 16’ 2pc. push pole
  • 6 gallon fuel
  • in gunnel rod holders
  • trailer

The trailer is NOT new, yet it is perfectly functional. If you google IPB, you will not see this boat on their site likely. A new company has bought the mold and has “prettied up” the boat. Now they go for about 12k I believe.

Max persons is 3 but really this is a 2 adult boat. One poling and one fishing. Demo’s can easily be arranged in the Hilton Head area.

I think this may be my first ever bump or ttt but I had to do it, sorry.

I’ve been fishing this boat the last few days and it brought it back to my mind. It is possibly the perfect flats boat on a budget. These tailing tides are made for it. Don’t make me buy a buff and matching fly rod, PLEASE! Someone come treat this boat to a new home.
