High Tide 6.6ft was higher than predicted looked like 7ft. Wind was out of the south but calmed down around 7PM and not a cloud in sight.
Fished up on the flats reds were still not tailing doesn?t look like fiddler crabs are really out yet.
Caught a 17 inch Trout in about 6inches of water a first for me never caught one that shallow before. Sight cast to 4 reds (only ones I saw) which were feeding almost hitting them in the head with my Z-Man caught three with two over slot limit. When aggressively feeding you could see them turn right around and take it. All fish were within 10/15ft of my kayak and in 1ft of water of less.
