I’m looking at putting in a Canoe up the Ashley between Magnolia Gardens and Middleton. The water clarity up there is minimal, has anybody had any luck up that way? Prefer a popping cork/topwater or cut mullet/crab on the bottom? There’s a few docks and inlets off the main river I plan on fishing, I’d appreciate some advice. Thanks much!

Ended up with about a 8lb blue cat (generously), and an eel on cut bait. Tried mm under popping cork for a bit, my buddy got tagged by something big, there are fish up there…hopefully we can find some reds eventually. Good time on the water nevertheless.
