Hit Remely’s today about 8:00…wanted to head up the Wando River to a dock I found a bunch of reds on last week…Last week when I found em they were hitting bait on the dead low incoming…So that was my plan today…dead low up there was 8:20 and by the time I got up there it was about 8:30…RIGHT ON TIME!!..Water was clear to about 3 foot and water temp was 62 degrees…Was throwing gulp jerk shad and had MM soaking off the back on a Carolina rig!!!..THE REDS WERE STACKED UP!!!..caught one after the other…lost count at 12 or 13…Bout the time the water got up to the grass line…they shut down…out of all the reds I caught today, only 2 were on gulp jerk shad…the rest were on MM’s!!..Pecked around other docks here and there with no success…It was coming up on High tide around 2:30 so I headed to my trout hole up in Beresford creek…Got a little before high so I pitched some gulps and MM’s on jig head up under some docks…NOTHING!!!..the tide was dead high at 2:40 so I headed way back in Beresford to my trout hole …Was throwing a certain color gulp jerk shad that has been porducing for me and a lot of my fellow SSWA members lately and NOTTA…NOTHING…The last time I was there and caught Trout and Flounder, I was using a different color gulp jerk shad…so I switched to that…Second cast…WHAM!!..Trout…then another and another and another…The color I switched over to is the color of choice up there, I guess…caught about 7 or 8 trout and left at about 4:00…All in all 2 reds on gulps…over 10 reds on MM’s…and 7-8 trout on differnt color gulps!!!..Nice day on the water… a little winds but not too bad!!!..Here are some pics!!
Thanks Pea Pod!!..Can’t give away all my secrets …On our SSWA website, we have a forum just like this…There I post what colors as does everyone else…We help each other out as fellow club members…Here, I keep it Secret HOWEVER, if you look closely at the pics…you might…MIGHT see a clue!!!

If Pea Pod wants to know…he can PM me and I’ll be more than happy to tell him what color gulp I was using today!!..the color that the reds, trout, and flounder are eating up right now!!..Don’t mind sharing with Pea Pod…he’s one of the good guys on here…I don’t like sharing all my stuff…Don’t want those that Bash and Critisize on here to get any “good” information at my expence!!!
