My wife picked up a used Ekornes Stressless recliner (shut up Pea). She is looking for someone to reupholster it, preferably in leather. Does anyone know of an upholsterer that does leather work. Were in Columbia but would not rule out travel within the state if the price is right and they do good work.
I have questioned having a few pieces done. Found that I could buy a new chair/recliner for what they wanted to do a cloth reupholster.
Not the case with an Ekornes chair. The “cheapest” ones start around $1,500 and go up to almost $3,000. The foot rests are $500+. It’s worth getting done.

I’d check with North Furniture in North, SC…yeah I know lol. I asked about redoing a couch a few years ago and they seemed to have some options.
