Hit the upper Wando today solo since the youngens have been staying up way past their bedtime and decided to let em sleep while I hunted new water for some sight fishing. Water really stained but had already made the drive. Hit a couple flats courtesy of satellite imagery and found reds spread way out in various spots. Couldn’t get any fish hooked because all they were doing was nudging my arties rather than inhaling them so after realizing this was not meant to be the next plan was trout time. Caught several trout and missed 3 times as many on my tried and true crappie bait rigged with a different color pattern that resembled more of a glass minnow. No pics since the wind was blowing me hard into the bank so catch and release was the technique. Solo Style!!!
