Hit the upper wando incoming tide spooked some nice reds under a dock they didn’t want the Doa shrimp. ended up catching 20 trout in a creek no real big ones but alot of fun! all fish caught on gold flake Doa letting it fall with an occasional twitch. Merry Christmas! catch um up…Mike

Something about DOA shrimp and me I dont have any success with them. I cant figure them out.
An old timer told me you have to have confidence in the lure you are using for it to work!

Hey Dave I use a rapala knot you can view it under the resources of this site. it allows the doa to move more natural. i never had luck with them either until it was the only bait I took out one day and had no choice but spend some time using it. It does work well! lets get out and fish sometime. Merry Christmas! catch um up…Mike

There is something to be said in having confidence in the lure that you are throwing. One of the ways i used to practice my techniques was by watching instructional videos on youtube and then going to a pool. This way I would be able to see the action of the bait at all times. It is amazing what you can learn about the movements you cause by the different types of retrieves.
