Upper wando 7/18 - pics added

Put in a first light and managed to get a few mullet and shrimp. First stop yielded one little trout on the mullet, the shrimp lasted 2 casts before it was eaten. Worked my way downriver and stopped to load up on some for finger mullet. A couple other yakkers passed by, but I was not able to say hello while I was messing with the cast net in the yak. I continued working down river looking for signs of fish when I came upon the mother lode (at least for me). There were several large pushes and bait scattering all over the place. I dropped anchor and tossed out the mullet (one on a float and one on the bottom). For the next few hours I had the pleasure of wearing my self out on 4-7 lb redfish, with the occasional bigger/smaller ones mixed in. I fished until I ran out of bait and took that as a sign to go home. Awesome morning on the Wando!

Pics to follow. One nice red had a nasty old gash around one of its eyes.

Yeah, I hit the 'ville at 9, and couldn’t buy a bite worth a )**() (unless you count puppy drum/sm shark). Once the wind picked up, the bite turned off. The ammt of bait was rediculous. 3 doz nice shrimp and a doz finger mullet in 5 casts. Still have yet to hit Paridise, but this report may change that, assuming that’s where you were:question: Great report, and even better pics!
