THe early morning on the upper wando was beautiful. Then about 8:30 or so the wind machine started. Gentle breeze for about 2 seconds, then full on blow.
Saw a few nice reds cruising the edges busting bait but couldn’t get one to bite.
Wound up catching a few cookie cutter flounder. Basically all looked like they were cut from the same 13 inch mold. Funny thing was I would’ve sworn I was casting at reds on two of them. They were pushing finger mullet up against a bank.
Got a call from the family that they were coming back from NC, os I cut it short and headed up the hill.
All flatties released to grow up.
