Fished outgoing tide, started at 6AM. There were tons of shrimp in creek so I threw the cast net and landed probably 200 in 10 cast. Fished shallow docks with current, caught 22 reds 11 were slot with the biggest at 32", caught 9 trout. All catch and released to live another day. Good day on the water!
oh. All fish were caught with live or dead fresh shrimp under popping cork.
Great report! That area has always been great; there’s a lot more people up there now than there was even ten years ago. That area seems like it has the most copper colored reds from anywhere around that I fish.
