Fellow Buggy Whippers,
I am heading to Salem SC (off of Highway 11) this weekend and was looking for any suggestions on a creek to hit. I have beat up the Easatoe and would like to do something different.
Thanks for your time.

Was in the area Sun and Mon and met with a bit of success…call or text me at 704-502-7833 for detailed info…caught a nice 21" holdover brown around 3 lbs…tight lines and good luck man!!!.. Jeff
Chatooga or Chauga Rivers would be a couple of close places to start. They’ve started restocking the DH sections in NC and word is that they have dropped a lot of big fish in the rivers.

Also not to far from the whitewater river and the big and little easttatoe
Team,
Thanks for the holler. We ended up fishing Silver Creek and caught six really pretty rainbows all around 12’ and one little brownie. Had my first eat on top with a Japanese rattle beetle that I tied. That was a game changer. We fished the hatchery on Saturday and managed to catch some small stock fish. Still an awesome trip with the crowd @ the hatchery. Squirmy wormy and the purple soft hackle did the trick. I love fall fishing in SC!!!

12 foot long rainbows? I sure hope you got a picture of that.
