Gotta a ripped net, and a lot of those fake lead weights they seem maybe .75oz each. Anyone figure out a way to glue them together or how to Shrink the hole, not that it matters so much… Maybe somethin to do on a rainy day. Thanks

Put ss wire through it and use a vice to flatten it.Loop the ss ends and fish on.

costs a little (maybe $2-4), but buy a bag of 50 of the right size fishing beads- available at any local tackle shop.
i also pinch then with pliers too if i need, as stonoman said.
ultimately, i may melt a lot of mine down and make bank sinkers or something more useful out of them- i have a couple mason jars full now. some are better than others for using as fishing weights.
I had about 5 nets worth of lead and got a forum member to melt them for me. I got all sorts of sizes of eggs, some pyramids and a mess of pinch weights. He did all the work and kept a little bit of lead but I feel it was more than a fair trade.

You can buy some red plastic beads and put one on the line after the weigth so that the bead hits the swivel and keeps the weight from going down the line.
Tie the weights to the line. go up a foot to foot and a half and tie a loop that wont slip. Maybe a dropper loop, but i use a different one. i cant find it anywhere on line to see what it it called or if it has a name but a dropper loop would work. attach hook to loop w palomar knot. i use this one all the time and those weights should work fine this way.
I use a shrubery trimer to cut them in half when i need smaller size
it also works well to cut them off rope at bottom of net!
Rap…I’m pouring in the next week or so for the Hatteras trip!

Smash them with a hammer or vise, drill a hole in one end, and you have a quick bank sinker.
They will work as is on a Carolina rig with some beads that are larger than the hole in the sinker. Put one on the line, then the sinker, then another bead, and then tie on your leader. This works too and the large beads make them pretty noisy to boot.
They also work great for crab line weights…just tie on a bunch of them.
