I hate to do this when I am trying to sell my yak but… My buddy at work has a Dang near brand new orange tarpon 130 tandem kayak. He wants to get two yaks but he has to unlaod this one first. I know of only 3 trips he has taken it out… not many more than that so this boat is very clean and looks like brand new. VERY stable. I have seen him AND his son standing and fishing. Comes with 2 PFD’s and 2 paddles. Summerville area, I’d even be willing to let ya’ll test paddle in my pond. He is asking $850. Don’t know how negotiable he is. If you are interested please e-mail me at

ken.bergmann-02@charleston.af.mil

and I will forward it to him. Thanks ya’ll

I have a few friends intersted in fishing Kayaks and I will definately pass on the info. Does anyone have a canoe for cheap (its a christmas gift, cheap). Too busy great kayaks but a little pricier than i am looking for. I just bought a Tarpon and a perception search a couple months ago so i am set for personal use and for future guiding use. What I am looking for is good kayaks 11-14 foot long that I may use for 1 day rentals

There are a LOT of hoops to jump thru to get into guiding safely and legally. Feel gree to give me a shout as I’ve spent the past several months getting my guide business in order.

Safety MUST be the number 1 concern. Don’t take this to harshly, but didn’t you just get into kayaking and just get into kayak fishing???

Certify in First Aid, CPR, Life Guard, and become an ACA Coastal Kayaking Instructor… then talk about starting to guide.

I have a nice Old Town Tandum Otter Kayak for sale. It is in great shape and shows only minor wear. It comes with upgraded serats, 2 Paddles, 2 life vests, a cockpit cover, and an easy launh attachment. I am asking $600 obo for it.

Also available is a Thule Rooftop rack system that includes locks, Hully roller kayak carrier, ski rack and locks. I purchased this stuff mostly new except for the ski racks its about 2 years old but only used 1 year and not very often. I am asking $300 for the Thule rack system.

I will make a package deal for the right person. This would mkae an awesome christmas gift to a loved one or for yourself. I am out of work and trying to make Christmas a little it brighter for my kids and for someone who can use this.

I have used this kayak many times alone. I can easily load, unload and launch and paddle this kayak by myself with very little effort. During family outings I could fit my wife, our 6 year old and myself in it comfprtable and still have room for a small cooler and a fishing rod or 3. On my alone trips I could fit mant rods, a nice cooler and all the tackle I needed for a days worth of fishing. This kayak is very sturdy and I have been known to stand up and fish from it. Don’t let this great deal pass you up.

Located in Beaufort, Delivery can be arranged or item can be picked up. I will be happy to keep it stored until Christmas Eve if you like as well.

Thanks for reading this.

that makes me think…Do you think that is something Ken, Austin, and myself should do??? Sounds like it to me. The certifaction part, not guiding. I wouldnt want to put you out of business.[:0][:0] j/k:wink:

Call TimeOut Sports. DolphinD on here works there and often has used kayaks for sale. They typically are demos so they have been taken care of and not abused.
