First off, I apologize but the search function is not working for me. Someone posted a name or number or address etc. for a gentleman out on James Island that had a bunch of old motors and would sell parts and such. Can someone please re-post that info? Thanks.

I’ve gotten a few parts from him before and he’s an interesting old man with a yard FULL of old motors. pretty nifty to sift through but you’ve better have the old part as he’s got them disassembled and scattered around.
he welded a 1/2" drive socket to the crankshaft of an old 25 hp Johnrude I had and milled the top of the driveshaft 1/2" square when the splines stripped out. Work great until I went to change the water pump and it was frozen together up in there.

Be prepared to work for it. every time I went and that was long ago, (Bob was old then, cant imagine him getting around these days) we would have to move ten oor more motors to get to what you wanted.
That back yard is where old boat motors go to die, a true motor graveyard.
Bob is good folk.
