Hitting the water for a Sonar Chart event this Sunday September 23. Wappoo Cut Public Boat Landing at 10am. We will be logging sonar logs for new 1ft contours and custom mapping around the Charleston Harbor (Middle Grounds). If you would like to come out please reach out to me or you can just ride along and see how everything works and how you can do it yourself.
Sounds really interesting to me. I have the Garmin Echomap that records sonar bottom maps and have done it a few times. Mostly I’ve just let it record while I’m fishing or moving. I think the results are very good.
I’d like to tag along with you sometime to learn about the Navionics and compare it to what I’ve done but don’t think I can this Sunday. If something changes I may contact you.
