Vacation in Folly area

I will be down for the first time with my new boat in Charleston waters next week for Memoria Day Weekend…Will be in the Folly River area. Will have the kids with me and want to put them on some fish of anykind especially whiting, flounder and reds…Have anyone been catching anything in Folly River lately.Baits and ect will be very helpful in helping my kids have fun on the water next week. Thanks for the help…

The problem with Memorial Day weekend is that everyone who owns a boat and uses it 3 times a year will be out there too. If you want to entertain the kids just set up lawn chairs at a busy landing:smiley:

Whiting should be plentiful, but watch out for the Yahoos!

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Appreciate that info Cracker Larry and Gail Wins.Hopefully to get intown early Thursday morning and hit water for some sheephead and whiting rest of day for kids

The docks and grass line directly across from Crosby’s has been holding big reds, cut mullet before low tide

Yes Ejsulli2000 I read that also in another post about the fish been biting good over there by Crosby’s…
I wonder if the boats are throwing scraps out over there so they tend to lounge over that way…
