Any idea what a 06 200 hpdi with no compression on one cylinder is worth if I were to sell it and repower? Roughly 600 hrs.
Still runs, just sounds funny.
I sold a 03 250 hpdi with the oil tank and prop for I think 1500. It had a, blown cylinder and a messed up head. But the guy bought it to fix and resale. Put it on CL with pictures.

Crazy, considering what the lower unit is worth. And the cowling, and the little bits under the cowl. Might be better to part it out.

Call Blackbird Industries out of PA. (They rebuild them for resale)
They may buy it whole for an OK price.
Make sure to post an add with pictures, motor history, hours, etc so they can take a look at it.
I posted my old motor on CF and Craigslist but had little interest.
Ended up parting it out on bassboatcentral until Blackbird called and took what was left.
They had a guy come to Charleston and pick up several motors, seems they make regular trips down here.
Anyways, good luck with the sale, don’t forget about the freshwater/bass guys. They run a lot of these motors and are always looking for parts.
How much does it weigh?
