Has anyone used this product before on their outboards? What is your feelings about the product. I had my engines serviced and the mechanic suggested i use this product with every fuel up because of the ethenol problem. However all I can find this product for is around 12-13 dollars a bottle. Seems kinda pricey with every fill up so was curious what people thought out there.
Not sure what the active ingredients are for the valvetect product. I recommend either Yamaha Ringfree or Mercury Quickleen. Both have Techron and will work with any outboard make, 2 and 4 stroke. Yes it is a bit pricey, but in the long haul they are worth it as they literally disolve carbon which is one of the biggest enemies of outboards, especially 2 strokes.

So do people agree that these carbon free additives are worth the cost. Does anyone use this brand or should I stick with the yamaha one.
