Going to pick a new to me boat there Friday.
Anybody got a snook hot spot they would share(private message me) so I can fish for 2hrs and try to catch a snook before I come back to SC?
Hate to be in that part irvine world with a busy and not give it a shot.
I don’t know Venice, but the snook should have at least started schooling up on the gulf beaches by now. I’d try the outside of inlets there with a white grub or a bone spook jr. if no one gives you a particular spot. The fish will be right up against the beach if they’re there. I could help you if you are willing to drive a bit south of there, but it sounds like you are strapped for time as is.

Go in the canals look for large boats on docks that have a lighting system and drift bait with the tide past the hulls and see what comes out of the shadows.
