Made a run to Venice this past Wednesday to fish with capt Kevin Beach of MGFC fame. The day before one of the charter capts had hooked up with 6 large yellowfins, so we headed out to the same floater.

Fishing was fairly slow,but we ended the day with seven yellowfin… The biggest going 100lbs maybe a hair bigger.

I can’t stress how y’all need to go experience Venice at least once in your life. I caught a 40lb yellowfin on a popper. Yes, I was bass fishing for yellowfin! What a blast…
