Any of you guys ever go down then?? Can you tell me what the fishing is like offshore? Is it as hot as say late May, early June?
There are several recent and detailed reports on this website from people going down there and there is much info through the web browser Google that will help you find the answers you are looking for sir
Just re read my post. Someone walked in my office when I was posting. Im sorry. Let me ask this again. Can anyone tell me how the fishing is in October.?? Most members here reports come from the springtime. From what I have read on the WWW…The fishing is good then, but if anyone has been in October, please share. Thanks.
You need to lock the door.
I’m heading down first weekend in Oct. That’s when they show up off the shrimp boats. Also can catch big triple tail on the way in

October is when the big boys are behind the skrimp boats! It’s probably one of the best months year in year out.

I’m doing it. If anyone has any recommendations send them on. My wife is from Gulfport so I’m going down and will fish the marsh inshore, and do an offshore day.
October is best fishing month of the year. Tuna average 120 pounds but cold fronts start coming through so weather can be hit or miss.
Book one of the Mexican Gulf fishing Company guides. Best in the business and they all run Freemans.
Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!
