Last week was the maiden voyage to work the kinks out of the new electronics and motors, well today much like “Q” turns all his hard work over to James Bond to save the world and take the credit I handed over the All Rise to Chunky, Foodstore, the Judge and the law clerks. I was forced to stay in the upstate and could only daydream as the SPOT messages trickled in. Finally I got through to Chunky and wanted to hear a fishing story. His exact words were “You don’t want to here it” I took a deep breath and said in despair “tell me…” “34 dolphin and 1 wahoo. Every box in the boat is full including the Judges favorite ICEETECH in the bow!” They left them biting.
Greeted with a beautiful ocean lines went in at the GTH at 7:30. Caught 2 early on and picked at them for a while.
A call came over the radio from Pallet that was trolling the same area that he had found the fish.
The details get sketchy from here as dolphin began to fill the deck. The Judge stayed at the wheel and let the crew work the spread. He is normally not one for compliments but said he was very impressed how they handled everything. At one point all 9 rods went down and they boated EVERYONE!
Great day on the big pond! Sounds like Chunky is getting the spread down quite well, I guess he was paying attention the day we fished with Full Pull.
Sounds like there was alittle struggling with the new electronics so I may still have a spot behind the wheel when I can get back out there. Chunky, Foodstore and the law clerks got the spread figured out though.
