I heard the CG pon pon this AM on 16. Sounded like the “Whitewater” or something similar sent out a distress call last nite.

Anyone hear anything?

This was a 65’ trawler that was in route to Beaufort, NC which became disabled and need of assistance. The USCG had a vessel nearby respond and tow towards Southport until TowBoat US could relieve them and continue the towage into port. A passing ship was relaying info to the USCG while the vessel contacted TBUS via SAT phone.
