I have seen many free jump in MI on the way back …I KNOW THEY ARE HERE TOO…[:0]

On this theme, I hooked one today, looked to be easily about four feet, right across from where you were fishing Doc, before you got out there. Easily 4’. Jumped 3-4 feet out of the water and cut my puny leader, I couldn’t tell what kind it was, just got a quick look out the corner of my eye, he was taking off with the bait behind me. There were some BIG bluefish out there, at least really big for the creek, and that’s what I figured I had on until I saw it.
There is some stuff out there. A few weeks back, a spotted eagle ray breached a couple of times something like 100-150 feet behind me, around the corner from that same spot in about 6’ of water. Beautiful creature, it was really cool. That one looked to be 150 lbs I guess, at least 7’ wingspan. And he was headed my way, thank goodness he didn’t decide to jump where I was[:0]
