Video Redfish & Trout on the Wando March 6, 2018

FULL VIDEO - https://youtu.be/TADfAhz5y6E
I went fishing with my wife for redfish on the Wando River. It was colder and more windy than I expected. We fished the outgoing tide. High Tide was at 10:39am and we got started around 1:00pm. We fished with Zman Paddlerz http://amzn.to/2oTKo3x. This lure is perfect for redfish. It has a segmented tail that will move on its own in the current allowing you to cast near redfish without spooking them. Combined with Pro-Cure Inshore Salt Water Super Gel http://amzn.to/2oKEwdA it makes for a deadly combination. We ended up fishing for about three hours and ended up with 2 redfish and a small trout. We released all the fish do to the winter freeze that happened this past winter, otherwise I would have sent them to the kitchen with my wife for her to cook. We had a great time. My wife has not caught a big fish since 2012, so she was very happy.

I enjoy your video

boy that 10cc brought back some memories.

Nice! Were they still schooled up in a winter time school or were you working the bank blind casting?

The water was not very clear. We were just working the bank blind casting. Thanks for watching.

Very cool indeed. Y’all’s videos are always well done.

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Pretty sure given some time on the water, the wife may surpass you on caught fish
Great video, thanks for sharing and giving some of us encouragement, been pretty slack lately on the Stono
