Jimmy Buffett can have Margaritaville, I’m going to Redfishville!

Yeah, I didnt have all my gear yet (last years Wallymart stuff was in bad shape).

Went out in the afternoon at Elliots cut then out to stono and up the creek that comes back to the cut. Didnt catch anything, but a nice peddle.

I don’t fear the Ocean, but it sure as hell has earned my respect!

No worries Tim,
I got to make new friends and learn a few tips. It was well worth it. And your right, there’s always next time, besides I hear the fish get bigger each time you go…;o)

That was the worst day I have ever seen or heard about at the ville… I don’t know if it was the lack of water, lack of live bait or the full moon the night before but all in all it was still a good day on the water  Looking to hit Bushy Park up probably Thursday Morning… A little closer to home for me  keep yer eyes peeled on SCKF…

ya know. i was there trying to get bait before you guys arrived. i didn’t have much luck either. however, what i thought was a finger mullet in my bucket ended up being a huge mud minnow. huge!

NJ,

i’m not opposed to going anywhere in the yak. would be happy to take ya out in the boat if ya want to as well. I’m good for this Saturday. name the place.

After nabbing my first reds OTF on the upper wando… I am not sure exactly where I wanna fish… Too Busy has been tlkain about a new spot thats been pretty good… I haven’t fished that side of Chucktown yet either… I’ll post up on Thursday or so when we get a spot nailed down…

Great time on Saturday even if the bite wasn’t on. Good to meet some of the fellas and try and remember how to cast the long rod.

NJ,

I could be good to go on Friday for an early morning Bushy Park hit. Let me know if Thur doesn’t work out for you.

Ahhhhh they young Jedi wants to venture into new territory. Seriously though How many people will we put together? We’d put 2 or 3 yaks on every dock on the Stono if we have a turnout like last summer.

Paradise and Copahee are both good areas with adequate parking compared to the Stono too. My only problem with either of those is (for me anyway) the fishing turns on for exaclty 10 minutes at first light then you sit for another 3 hours waiting for one more bite.
Paradise fishing lasts a little longer if it’s overcast.

What do you guys think about hitting some fresh to see if we can put a few stripers in the yaks on Moultrie? I’ve been hearing about some decent catches near the Navy short stay.

There is nothing - absolutely nothing- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Kenneth Grahame
