Welcome home NJ, I would love to, especially since I have never been there and still haven’t had the yak in the water yet, but I already promised my son him and his friends could use it. If his plans change I will be there.

Dave

No worries guys… we’re going to try and set up a big SCKF meet and fish next Sat or Sunday… Try to break our record from last time… I think we had 32 yaks in the water that day… it’d be cool to out do that… I am also working on a few prizes for biggest red/trout and biggest fish OTF I was also thinking about largest stingray but I know Dolphin Dave would just run away with that category :wink::smiley::smiley::stuck_out_tongue: I’ll keep ya posted…

Bring your waders, that water gets SUPER skinny, hell, its the one place that makes me use my paddle, and thats saying a lot

I don’t fear the Ocean, but it sure as hell has earned my respect!

Waders??? You big sissy!! :wink::stuck_out_tongue: Pluff mud and 75 degree water is good for the skin! :wink: We are gonna launch about 2 hours short of high tide and fish about 2 hours after so there should be plenty of water. I even plan on walking the flats a little with the fly rod if the wind cooperates… :smiley: But Arch is right… low tide at the ville and you can get a kayak stuck high and dry if ya ain’t careful :wink:

Look NJ, just because to you right now anything that isnt desert and 95 degrees full of sand is bliss…

Pluff mud sucks, I think you are just remembering it fondly, like I did with deployments while on shore duty…no, no, the sub wasnt that bad…

<grin>

YOu bringing the pooches & yak out tomorrow, or the stinkpot?

There is nothing - absolutely nothing- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Kenneth Grahame

out of town this weekend but will definitely be there next week with the pooches.

this should be interesting. last year, roxy crapped on my yak. :stuck_out_tongue: that was the only time that ever happened.

Cool… One thing about Military types… We adapt to changes REAL Easy…

As for swinging a trip south… You could drop the wife off at Beaufort for the day…Or at the Air Station for the Blue Angels Show…
