Im a student at Western Kentucky Univ. Me and two other friends are coming to Hilton Head for spring break (march 11-16) and are trying to find someone to possibly take us out to do some offshore or inshore fishing. I am big on lake/creek fishing here in kentucky(not so much my buddies) and have done some surf fishing as a kid. If anyone would be willing to take us out, show us the ropes, or even just give us some good surf fishing tips it would be greatly appreciated. We would be more than willing to help or take care of the essentials…gas, rigs, bait, beer?..
My advice if you are willing to pitch in for the essentials is to find a good charter. There are a few good ones that post on this webpage. March 11-16th does not look good(weather) right now for offshore, but it changes daily. The inshore fishings is hit or miss this time of year, but a good charter is your best bet.

thanks for the advice…though, my impression has always been that getting a charter would be a costly trip. We plan on atleast doing some surf fishing…maybe fish off the pier, but it would be great to find someone willing to take us out. Although on a budget, we can still help take care of gas, bait, etc. -Thanks
I will take you out. We can at least get to a nice beach without houses in view to fish from. If it is at all nice we can go to one of the near shore reefs or beyond.
