They are a very respectable fleet up there. I would make sure to do the 3/4 or full day trip. You will catch fish on any of their trips. But the two mentioned will put meet on the table. The 1/2 days are fairly priced, but you are gonna encounter a lot of undersized fish in the shallow water that they are gonna stay in. Do one of the two mentioned and have a great time. If you decide to do a private charter contact us.

I’ve been out with them , had a great time and caught fish. Keep in mind that from Ocean Lakes you are MUCH closer to Murrells Inlet. They have the New Inlet Princes their which is a great head boat like the Voyager 2. Also that’s where t2c is located. MI is less than 10 minutes away Voyager was at Little River which is a 30 minute ride with traffic lights.

Nothing against the super voyager but if you wanna make a little drive i think the hurricane fleet in calabash, nc is the best run headboat around without a doubt. They have 1/2 and all day trips. As stated above the 12hr trip is the way to go if you wanna have a good time.
-Wishes Charlotte was 3 hours closer to the ocean…-
Thanks for all the info I didn’t realize there were that many head boats still around and now I’m not sure which one to get on we normally fishing out of charleston on our boat but its just me and I didn’t think it made much since to pull the boat from spartanburg if it was just me but thanks again and ill see what I can do

new inlet princess! drive right down the road to murrells inlet and have a hell of a time. great captain on that boat… my arms were sore after that trip
Dont remember seeing anything in here about Capt Dicks or New Inlet Princess.
But, I would definitely recommend Capt Robert and the crew. Just like northchucky said. We had sore arms after the trip also. You can watch the trip here:
