wadeing shoes

HI GUYS DOES ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION ON GOOD WADEING SHOES TO USE I AM COMEING DOWN IN MAY AND I HAVE A COUPLE OF WALK IN SPOTS I WANT TO TRY ARE LITE WEIGHT WADERS A WASTE OF TIME OR JUST GO WITH A GOOD PAIR OF WADEING SHOES THANK YOU JCM

I just use an old pair of running shoes with long wool socks. I think Korkers make a fairly cheap pair of flats boots.
Light weight waders would work, but not necessary.
chris.

I wear a pair of neoprene flats boots (booties) made by Worldwide Sportsman. I got them at Basspro for $20 and they work great. No more snails in between the toes!

Kai, is that you?

the Simms flats boots are worth every single penny. i liked the patagonia marl walkers but the tread was far to aggressive for the mud. the simms are the bee;s knees. fo sho. i would think the chuck taylor all star would be a good $ Alternitive since they have basically the same support and tread structure. ive worn the simms through airports/ bars/flats- mud sand, and marl etc and they are perfect! i even bought a pair (never used) in case the discontinue…that good.

you wont need waders

I have an old pair of canvas wading boots with a lug sole no felt And a pair of neoprene socks from kmart. Wading boots have about 7 years of salt on them and are still going strong. bought them on clearance for about $20… neoprene socks $4 clearance.
