Hello fellow kayakers. Just curious. Got new sock foot waders for Christmas. What’s best to wear with them .Thanks for any replies.

I wear a pair of swimming shoes (the type with the neoprene tops and rubber soles) over the stocking feet. You can find them in the stores for around $10. For the fit with the stocking feet, I bought a pair that was a couple sizes bigger than my shoe size.

I would suggest that you wear a belt for safety reasons.

You could just buy some Crocs. I just wear neoprene booties with my crocs and fishing pants and if its cold or raining I wear a pair of goretex pants.
