I need a new pair of wading boots or shoes for trout fishing. My old Redingtons lost their felt soles due to the main sole cracking. I would like to go with something a bit lighter so I can hike for aways if need be. I use a pair of stocking foot Simms waders.
The Redingtons lasted for a long time but were always hard to get into and were not easy to hike in.

Any suggestions?
