RookieFlyFisher called me up earlier in the week to see if I wanted to take advantage of some of these high tides we had. Hmmm, let’s see…our baby is due the 27th and I’m still recovering from shoulder surgery…I’m in! We saw 12 fish and RFF landed 2 fat pigs on the fly in our hour out there. The only regret I have is not doing this years ago!

Well done Andy. I haven’t gotten out on the flats in at least a year myself. I think I would have better luck catching redfish on the flats with a castnet then on the fly.
