Went out today on the high tide to walk a flat. Long story short i saw three tailing and didnt catch any of them. I think part of the problem was that my bait was not weedless. I was fishing with a scented Z-man jerkbait. Cant remember exactly. But how do yall hook them weedless? do you use an offset hook or just hook it differently with the jighead? Thanks for any help
Use the Z-Man trigger hook. The oring keeps the bait puched tight to the hook point making it pretty much weedless.

Forget the stink bait on the wade. Try a spoon or better yet go with the fly. Think like a fish and you will catch them.

Thanks. I caught my first ever redfish on a gold spoon but havent used them much since them. I guess ill go back. And ive just started fly fishing so im going to try to get a few more normal then go to the fly. Thanks again
