went up to the Hole yesterday. Lots of bonita from 180’ to the drop. flew a kite for a good part of the morning but no black fins. was getting marks deap so we sent some jigs down,they ended up being 50 pound AJs. Did some deap drops and picked up some tiles and silks.
All and all, a fun day, steady action.

How deep were the Tile Fish? Golden?
nice- you using electric reels for deep drops or just 50s and 80s?
I would say he was shallower than 240ft for bluelines or silks as the SAFMC, in their infinite wisdom, closed possession/harvesting of them deeper than that in 2010…
Goldens opened back up Jan 1, but they will probably close again at any time. They like to tell us these things at the last minute and make us go try to catch our one per person for the year when the wind’s blowing 15kts and stuff like that…
