Went out to a old secret spot(Near Wadmalaw Sound Shhhh!)I used to go to when I was a kid(15 to 18 years ago). This was back before I owned a boat and we would have to improvise with docks, bridges, or any other way we could get access to the water. We used to do pretty good for some young kids with no real access to the water. So I wanted to see if I could still pull it off. We arrived at low tide around 6pm and shrimped the incoming tide untill around 10pm. I wouldn’t call it a great trip but I wouldn’t call it a bad trip either. The best part was all the memories that came along with this trip. We ended up with a decent catch of some really nice shrimp and quite a bit of fishin bait for the freezer.
Good job …nothing to complain about there at all… Shrimp for the belly and for the winter fishing trips. Last year i saved a couple containers of the big shrimp heads for chum…but forgot the bait one day but had the bag of chum…used it and the fish seemed to like it just fine
