Put lines in in 200ft. Trolled out to 1100ft. Caught a couple of dolphin in 300ft and a couple more in 700ft. Had a blue cruise throught the spread in 900ft but no interest. Ran back into 250 Ft and picked up a couple more Mahi. All were nice gaffer size but none real big. Every trip we troll toward home inshore of the banks. Mainly to make the run shorter and to have another beverage or two but we almost always catch something. Today it was the day maker. Hit the WWB and almost dumped the 30tw before we could clear and chase. Best part was I got to fight the fish, which I never get to do bc I am usually running the boat or handing off to a guest. 70# on the scale. Chatter around where we were was pretty slow like our day. One guy came on the radio and said they did well further north for what that is worth. Heating up the grill as we speak for fresh wahoo for dinner. Picture is three generatiolns of thE family in the photo. Great day and great memories.
