I have a buddy that put down a dang mortgage payment for some of those chrome door-knob deals. I will be interested to see how our wahoo talley’s stack up at the end of the season. He’s losing to ballyhoo 2-0 right now.

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.

high speed delight appears to catch some on nc/ sc coast everybody mostly dead baits trolls around here

Amazingly enough everyone that loves those things is a new member…hmmm…

High speed trolling definitely works and its proven in many places but the thing no one has figured out is…when it works better than dead bait. Many high speed guys know wahoo are on a spot and are trolling with no bites. Why do the wahoo only hit high speed lures sometimes? I am studied on feeding times, spread set up etc etc when it comes to wahoo…but no one knows when it is better to high speed vs pull ballyhoo. I have alot of time and $ invested in my high speed stuff but as empty pockets said…most on sc/nc coast have better results with ballyhoo. Mr Wahootime trying to push the cowbell sell…please enlighten us

those cowbells are pretty popular down in south fla right now.

I purchased a few of those cowbells a few years ago for a indo boat trip figuring we could troll at highspeed between breaks. I use them around here from time to time with no success. Yo-zuri bonita 1 / ballyhood (cowbell) lures 0 this past weekend on wahoo. All my best wahoo have always been caught on deadbaits (ballyhoo).

Anyhow, if that photo is not staged, good to know they actual catch fish and not just the fisherman.

High speed is all about catching bigger fish, dead bait will catch more fish. It is most popular with tournament guys looking for 1-3 big fish for a big fish aggregate.
